PHP programming course
One thing that’s VERY different in my new job, is that my manager is keen on sending me on training courses (the last place seemed to have a few issues about this!). Last week I attended a PHP Programming Course with Well House Consultants in Wiltshire where I learnt a whole range of new skills for my web projects (I’m sure you’ll see a number of them over the next few weeks!).
The course was led by Graham Ellis who is also the owner of the hotel that was the venue. He does a number of courses based on various Open Source topics including Perl, Python, MySQL and Java. If you are interested in getting a head-start with any of these languages, I would definately recommend giving them a call.
